I’m 27, I live in Spain (originally from Germany) and I recovered from ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia. I’m a holistic health practitioner. But before that I was the girl who couldn’t get out of bed and was in so much pain 24/7.
The girl that didn’t know
The girl that didn’t know that she will lose her life as she knew it. The girl that didn’t know that soon she has to become her own doctor.The girl that didn’t know that it will take her years to unlearn every pattern she had. I was bedridden. My Body just stopped working. A body that was fighting itself. And nobody could tell me why.
„WHY ME?“ became „What is this teaching me?“
Recovery took me five years. Nobody had a plan for me, so I made my own. I taught myself medicine, the body and neuroscience like my life depended on it. Because it did. I learned how the organs, the cells and the nervous system work together. I learned that the body is one system, not single parts. I rebuilt my body organ by organ. And I completely rewired my nervous system. My hardest season was introducing me to my strongest self.
Today I live the life I thought I had lost
For years my whole world was my bed. And when it wasn’t my bed, it was another hospital bed, another clinic, another waiting room. Today I live in Spain, by the ocean. I walk barefoot on the beach. I work. I laugh. I make plans again. All the things I thought I would never do again. I’m not perfect and I’m not finished. But I’m here. And if this was possible for me, there is hope for you too.
I also give talks on ME/CFS, neuroplasticity and brain retraining.

She assesses the situation very realistically. And she has a strong background on what actually happens in the body with ME/CFS. She explains neuroplasticity with simple examples.
